The festival, formerly known as The Kate O’Brien Weekend, celebrated its 4oth anniversary this year. Beginning in 1984 to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of Limerick-born writer Kate O’Brien, the festival continues to honour the life and works of the author while attracting prominent participants from home and abroad.

To our funders, partners, guests and wonderful audiences – thank you for making 2024 one of our best years yet!
